Wie Setting Precedent

 

LPGA Tour rookie Michelle Wie is setting a precedent for aspiring LPGA Tour professionals.  Wie has already carded four Top-10 finishes and six Top-25 finishes in her first year including her T3 finish at this year's Sybase Classic presented by ShopRite and another top finish last week at the Wegmans LPGA (T10).  Wie is currently ranked #2 in the the Rolex Rookie of the Year race behind Jiyai Shin.

Quick Six with Kyeong Bae

St. Joseph's Children's Hospital Visit

 

St. Joseph's Healthcare Systems, an official Tournament beneficiary, invited LPGA Tour professionals and Tournament staff to visit their Children's Hospital at the St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center this morning.  To view photos from the visit click here.

Q&A with UMCC Superintendent

 

Tournament staff interviewed Upper Montclair Country Club’s new superintendent Mike Brunelle to ask him a few questions about the course, his job and the upcoming tournament. Click here to read the full Q & A.

Kraft Nabisco Champion Brittany Lincicome has enjoyed herself on and off the golf course this year.  Lincicome, who carded a T6 finish at this year's Sybase Classic, has made appearances at a Tampa Bay Devil Rays game throwing out the first pitch and cheering on the Orlando Magic against the Charlotte Bobcats where she made a half-time appearance in front of fans.  Lincicome took a few moments out of her schedule to answer a few questions.

1. If you could eat only one kind of food for the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Chocolate brownie with ice cream and chocolate syrup!

2. If you could build your own robot, what would it do? 

Clean

3. If you could  be a superhero, what superpower would you have/possess? 

I would be able to see into the future.

4. If you could invite one special guest of honor to your birthday, who would it be? 

My boyfriend.

5.  If you could have any kind of animal for a pet, what would it be?

A monkey.

6. Instead of leaves (or money), what do you wish would grow on trees? 

Candy.
